History

Dansformation started in 2006, after a trip to Africa. I felt strongly that I had a lot of work to do and I wanted to create a company that made that possible. Since then the journey of Dansformation has been incredibly interesting, exciting and satisfying and I truly believe we have been changed many lives since then through dance. My dancing partner here is Thabang Ramilia from Soweto SA. he taught me traditional Zulu dance and we created so much contemporary movement together, performing across the UK and South Africa.

Our work derives from the communities roots and speaks to many. The creation of the work comes from the people and engages diversity in all forms. Connecting the language of dance in a world of communcation.
